What Should Our Attitude Be When We Pray?

How do we deal with sin and its consequences?“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)This is what Jesus did to ensure our victory over sin and everything that enslaves us. We receive the precious gift of salvation when we entrust our lives to Him and accept the sacrifice He made on the cross. What follows after is a plentiful life with love, hope, and joy only He can give us. Still, He also tells us to put off the old man and put on the new man by renewing the spirit of our mind. There will also be trials, along with all the blessings He can give us. As born-again believers, we will have to face the reality of this fallen world and our own nature. Sin is still present in our lives, and we will have to deal with it in one way or another. How do we rise in a proper way and get restored after we sin?
