This is what I've been meditating on recently. One of the primary weapons of the devil through which he manipulates people and a nation is through their leaders. This is how he manages to control the masses. We need to pray for the authorities.
Still, even if our rulers might not follow God's standard, we need to start with our families and communities. The devil will also want to attack our family values and the head of the family. When that happens, we often see that the rest of the family also doesn't walk on the right path.
We must watch and make it possible for our family and community to receive the right Christian values. Much more today than before, our positive influence and example are extremely important.
